EXTERNAL MOULDINGS

Chelmer Mouldings can produce items so they are suitable for exterior use. We most commonly use GRP (fibreglass) or

Jesmonite which is a sand and cement based product mixed with acrylic polymer, it has a subtle stone finish and can be

painted any colour, as can GRP. Alot of our clients are choosing GRP or Jesmonite over natural stone for two main reasons,

1 being cost; our external moulding solutions are much more cost effective compared to stone and 2 being how lightweight

the materials are in comparison to heavy stone which often requires extra fixings within the building.

We can produce external cornices, string course, door surrounds, window heads, architraves and much more, either using

standard moulds or creating a mould to a specific size of profile if specified by the architect or client.
